Our Facility

At UncleRooneys, our licensed GACP cultivation and GMP processing facility in South Africa is designed to ensure the highest quality cannabis production from start to finish. Our cultivation setup includes two mother rooms, two clone rooms, and two distinct flowering sections: the Flow-Farm and the Grow-Rooms. Together, they form a 220m² flowering canopy that produces one harvest from each section every three weeks. Our state-of-the-art processing area consists of two drying rooms, a trimming room, a curing room, and a weighing and packaging room, all interconnected through a pass-box leading to a secondary quarantine zone. The flower undergoes careful drying to achieve the ideal moisture content, is then bucked and hand-trimmed before entering the curing phase. Once fully cured, the product is meticulously packaged and prepared for dispatch, ensuring premium quality every time. All of this is carried out under stringent SAHPRA regulations, ensuring compliance and excellence in every batch.

About Cultivation and Processing

At UncleRooneys, cultivation and processing are the backbone of our commitment to delivering premium-quality medicinal cannabis. Every step of our process is carefully designed to ensure consistency, potency, and therapeutic efficacy. Together, our cultivation and processing practices exemplify our commitment to excellence, ensuring that every product we deliver meets the expectations of patients and partners alike.

Cultivation

Our cultivation begins with meticulously maintained mother plants, which serve as the genetic foundation for our entire operation. From these mothers, healthy clones are propagated to ensure uniform growth and high-quality yields. Once the clones are ready, they move into our specialized cultivation sections: the Grow Rooms and the Flow-Farm. Each section is optimized for specific stages of the plant’s life cycle, with precise environmental controls for light, humidity, and temperature. This dual-section approach allows us to sustain continuous production, ensuring fresh harvests every three weeks.

Processing

After harvesting, the flowers undergo a rigorous processing phase to prepare them for market. The process begins in our state-of-the-art drying rooms, where the cannabis is carefully dried to achieve the ideal moisture content. From there, the dried flowers are moved to the trimming room, where they are hand-trimmed to ensure an aesthetically pleasing and high-quality final product. Once trimmed, the cannabis enters the weighing and packaging stage, where it is prepared for distribution under strict regulatory compliance. Our packaging not only preserves the freshness and potency of the product but also meets the highest standards of safety and quality assurance.
